[ale] suggested kernel?

Another reason to compile everything into the kernel, may be for
security reasons. Packages like FreeSWAN, recommend that you compile all
of the options you need into the kernel, then turn off the option for
loadable modules. This way if someone was to gain access to your
machine, they could not add in a malicious module to system.
