[ale] KPilot and USB Visor

I am having issues with my Handspring Visor and Kpilot. It worked for a 
while and now it stopped. Now I have to hotsync and start kpilot. It 
does a quick sync and reads user information but does not sync the 
information. I don't really like jpilot, not to mention I can install 
any applications. It just times out. Does anyone know how to fix this?? 
The only time an application can recognize that there actually is a palm 
pilot is for me to hit the hotsync button when it starts. Does anyone 
know of a way around this other than buying a serial cradle? I don't 
want to have to do that yet.
