[ale] DB abstraction for PHP

Hi John,

I use a library called adoDB (php.weblogs.com/ADODB) which works great. I
was able to convert an application we've written in MySQL quickly to
PostGreSQL with a few changes to some SQL functions that were only available
to MySQL. It supports more databases than PEAR and there's a few nifty
features.

Subject: [ale] DB abstraction for PHP

Can anyone suggest a very mature db abstraction solution for PHP? I'd
like to support at the very least Oracle, MySql, and optionally Postgres.
SqlServer would be nice as well, but not a requirement.

Thanks!

John
