If ident is running and it still says your banned, you may be logged in as root.  I'm not sure if OPN does this but I know other networks do...

Thought it was worth adding..

Yes...I knew of this but thought openprojects was one of the last few...

however, tried it with bitchx and got:

You are banned from this server:  identd required 08/30/2002

Interesting that it allowed me on this long, but oh well ;-).
