AIS Media, Inc., an Atlanta-based Internet services firm, has immediate
contract & contract to perm. positions available for highly competent
Internet developers with a proven track record in PHP, Perl, MySQL,
PostGreSQL experience.

SPECIFICS ABOUT THE JOB:
We are currently in the process of extending the functionality of our
existing web hosting control panel and other back-end systems including but
not limited to:

* Mailing list server
* Billing system
* Autoresponder system
* Web site & store builder system

All projects require working knowledge of Smarty and adoDB.

PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
* Excellent positive attitude is a must
* Ability to work well in a team & individually
* Ability and desire to learn and grow
* Good, responsible & honest work ethic

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Fluent in administrative programming languages (Perl, bash/sh)
* Understanding of Internet fundamentals (DNS, Email, Web servers)
* Understand UI designs/layout fundamentals and user friendly interfaces
* Familar with using Macromedia Dreamweaver
* Understand online security and encryption
* Capable of helping to produce and maintain technical documentation for
these projects
* Familiar wtih UNIX machines and related support software (Apache,
Sendmail, Postfix, Bind, MySQL, PostGreSQL) is a big plus

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
* Fluency in PHP and SQL (PostGreSQL and MySQL) are required.
* Must be familiar with Smarty template engine and adoDB abstraction layer.
* Must be able to code using HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, and/or other
tools to generate interactive web-based enterprise level applications.
* Fluency in Perl, C, and Java are big plusses.

NON-TECH SKILLS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional conduct,
excellent work ethic, positive mental attitude.
