[ale] cdrdao read/write???

generally a simple 'dd if=/dev/<cdrom_device> of=tmp.iso' will do the trick. if
you have bad sectors on the cd (not copy protection) you might want to set the
read ahead on the device up a bit (something like 'echo file_readahead:2000000 >
/proc/ide/<cdrom_device>/settings' should do the trick) and ignoring errors like
so: 'dd conv=noerror if=/dev/<cdrom_device> of=tmp.iso'

then you can burn away with cdrecord
