[ale] OT- Transition to fast access

This might be an error on the part of whatever service you're using to
determine the distance from your house to the CO.  

For instance, dslreports.com says I'm 39,880 feet from the nearest CO
(MMRTTGAMA).

I'm betting it's either out-dated info or a mistake.
