[ale] [OT] Scanner parts.

my wife has a scanner that the bulb has gone out on.
it's a snap to remove and install but i have no clue where to find a 
replacement.  the manuf'(Umax) wants more than the scanner was worth new.

are there generic replacement parts avalible for these anywhere?
