Did you see it in dmesg?  If so you may just need to run "ifconfig eth0 up"
to see it with the "ifconfig -a" command.  I use the "pump eth0" command to
get it to use dhcp after that.  Hope that works.

Did an install of RedHat 7.2 today, and Linux would not recognize my LAN
card. I have been using the same hardware and installation disks for 6
months
- and it always recognizes the card fine. I put in a Windows drive, and was
able to browse the Internet without touching the hardware.
Does anyone know why the card was not recognized this time?

Rather than beg for the commands to get the card up, I am re-installing the
entire OS again - still it would be nice to know what happened.
