I can give you a response, that whole Athens wireless "cloud" is a sham. I
don't know what they're trying to pull but as it stands, there is NO
public access to the one AP they've got setup downtown. Aside from that,
its only visible for approximately 100ft in any given direction. In fact,
you get much much better reception from the Starbucks. I find it quite
amusing that the journalism school is heading up that project and that
CNN, AJC, et al. would catch wind of it in such a premature state.
