Yep! It boots up with a framebuffer. Then you run xwmconfig to set the
window manager you want. Then startx -- -fbbpp 16 worked well for me
with a riva card on framebuffer. There are about 1.5 G of stuff
compressed onto the CD! mkzftree is a great tool.
