[ale] FTP and SSH

Robert,
/etc/init.d/sshd start
is a common theme for starting sshd.

Make sure a link from /etc/rc5.d/S99sshd points to /etc/init.d/sshd so
whenever you reboot you will have sshd startup automatically in your
default runlevel.  This email is assuming you understand the SysV
startup methodology using init to start a bunch of daemons based on
runlevels located in possibly:

/etc/rc#.d
/etc/init.d/rc#.d
/etc/rc.d/rc#.d

Runlevels range from 0-6 for booting with different functions and
rebooting and such.
