[ale] NFS ROOT

I am at wits end. I have tried everything I can think of but still can not get a sysem to boot with an nfs
root. The etherboot floppy works fine. I get a IP address fine, I can start the correct kernel just fine but
I fail to complete the boot. I don't get an error it just freezes after the "Freeing unused kernel memory"
message.

The nfs root point looks like:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 17 10:41 bin
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 692084 Sep 4 16:45 bzImage
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 697344 Sep 4 18:01 bzImage.out
drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 81920 Sep 4 11:26 dev
drwxr-xr-x 38 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:10 etc
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Sep 4 18:04 fastboot
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:03 home
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 Aug 17 10:41 lib
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:03 mnt
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:03 proc
drwxr-x--- 11 root root 4096 Sep 4 11:27 root
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 17 10:41 sbin
drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:04 tmp
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 4 18:04 usr
drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 4096 Jul 10 01:13 var

I create the boot image with this command

/homes/jefft/etherboot/mknbi-1.2/mknbi --target=linux --format=elf
--rootdir=172.17.1.96:/tftpboot/clusterboot --rootmode=rw
--ip=172.17.1.120:172.17.1.96::255.255.255.0:test:eth0: --append=init=/sbin/init --out bzImage.out
bzImage

Any assistance would be great!

Thanks,
Jeff
