[ale] Certification

Be that as it may, that doesn't mean getting certified isn't one way of
getting started with Linux - although I, like you, strongly recommend that
anyone who wants to should spend at least 3-12 months (depending on how much
time per day/week you can actually spend with it) installing, configuring,
reinstalling, reconfiguring, installing/configuring different services,
installing/configuring different applications, before taking any
certification courses, otherwise you don't get nearly enough out of it.

I do believe certification courses have their place, though. For one, I am
saving up lots of problems/questions, so that when I take my cert classes, I
can make the most of them.

I would recommend that you actually learn how to do things with Linux in
lieu of falling into any sort of money-sucking "certification" scheme.

Linux rewards hard work. You can't just throw money at someone to really
learn it.
