2.4.16 looks to be quite solid.  I currently have two boxes running it,
half a dozen or so on 2.4.10, and about a dozen on 2.4.13 and 2.4.14.
None have given any problems so far, though 2.4.10 does have a few
issues with ext3.

But it hasn't been out long enough to give it a "stable" brand.
