[ale] Oracle 9i

Joseph,
I was dealing with Oracle on Linux from their first release - it was pain in
the ass at that time. I'm pretty sure that in a couple of months it would be
much better. Unfortunately I can't help You with 9i/Linux. But this is my
experience with Ora/Linux combination.
