[ale] motherboard recommendation for SuSE workstation

I can't so much recommend you a card as I can recommend where to look - hunt for overclocking Web sites.  Not that you're going to overclock, but those who do care a lot more about mobos than the average joe.  You might want to start at www.overclockers.com and see where its links take you.  Www.anandtech.com is another good place to research, and might be www.amdzone.com.

Abit and Asus are two mobo makers that I see mentioned with reverence.  You might recall that mobo makers that decided to pursue Athlon designs did so in the face of Intel's heavyhandedness - the point being that the ones that put out Athlon mobos early have the most experience with it, for what it's worth.
