I, too, use and appreciate Blackbox.  But in building lowend boxen for friends
and clients, I hesitate for just one reason --- menu changes must be hand-
edited.  If you know of a tool that avoids this problem, I'd like to know about
it.

Meanwhile, I'm installing XFce for others because it is lightweight, yet has (1)
menus that are easily modified (2) a diskette app that mounts / runs file manager
/ unmounts automatically (3) icons displayed for minimized apps.   Plus it is
under active development.
