[ale] HOWTO? recursively retrieve ftp.cc.gatech.edu files

Have you tried to get a tar ball which will contain everything
in the tree?

ftp> get debian.tar

It will tar everything under debian and give you one "big"
tar ball.

It works most of the time, if the server is running wu-ftpd.
The administrator may turn it off to save bandwidth and CPU.
