[ale] eternet card problems

To fix this problem I had to go to www.scyld.org and download the latest
driver, then look through the mail archives for a little mini patch.
the patch works in 2.2.x, but it isn't just a simple patch and compile.
You have to copy several files and add a 'pci-scan.o' module.
