duh on my part...lol.. that was it. Added the address to /etc/hosts and it

Does rasitlin.x.com resolve in DNS, and is it listed in the host's
/etc/hosts file on the machine you're running the xhost command from?
If not, you'll have to either add it or specify the dotted-decimal address
of the machine.
