Thought I'd list some stuff I have piled in the storage room since I really
need to get rid of this stuff ;).
I have a 20" Trinitron Sun Monitor with a 13w3 connector on the back for sale.
Manufactured in 1994 by Sony for Sun, the Sun logo is broken off the bottom left
corner and the casing is cracked a little bit in the same area. Awesome picture
though, last time I used it, which was a few months ago.
It's fixed-frequency, which is pretty simple to configure X-Windows in Linux
for if you wish to use it on a PC. If memory serves me correct, the frequency
is 72 or 75Hz, not "strobe-light" 60Hz, as were the 1989 19" models, which I
used two of on the server I used to have...
I have no idea what it's worth, but I'll listen to any offers.
---
I also have about 30 brand new 104-key compaq PS/2 keyboards...$5 each
---
Third, I have a couple of Compaq Deskpro 4000S's - the S stands for Slimline,
you can put only one expansion card in these, either ISA or PCI, there's a
built-in 10-baseT card with RJ45 and AUI, builtin video (2mb I think), so just
add a sound card and you'll be set. They will accept a standard IDE hard drive
(only one, not included), and a slimline compaq cd-rom drive (not included)
which is impossible to find, so you'll definitely want to have a box with a
shared cd-rom on the network. They have a built-in floppy, a Pentium 233
Processor, and two SDRAM slots, currently filled with 2x 32mb chips. The cases
are a bit scratched up from monitor wear, etc. Add a hard drive, temporarily
plug in a regular IDE cd-rom drive with the case open, install linux, and
you're set. $100 each.
