[ale] Little OT: Blind Future: Advise Wanted

I have a CIS degree but would like to puruse a CS degree.  does any of these schools offer good night courses?

I spent a very little time at UGA taking CS classes, although I did most 
of that at Georgia Tech, where I got my bachelor's in CS. UGA seems to 
have a fairly decent program from what I remember. At least at the intro 
level, it's not quite on par with Tech's but UGA is more directed 
towards the humanities.


The one thing to look for in a program is to make sure they don't spend 
time teaching the fad language, and instead concentrates on teaching 
programming concepts. Many Tech grads have horror stories about being 
dumped into a project where they didn't know the language and had to 
learn it very quickly. If you are grounded in language concepts this is 
a difficult proposition. The other extreme is schools which will teach 
you how to program in C or how to program in Visual Basic without giving 
you a grounding in language theory.
