Maybe ttyS0 needs to be added to /etc/securetty?

Subject: [ale] problems with login and pam
Hi there,
I am trying to build some boot disks, I need to have access to the
console via ttyS0 and I am having a little problem. I need to run getty
which is not included in busybox and I am getting knowhere. I went through
error after error and finally got it down to this.
(none) login: root
PAM-warn[9]: service: login [on terminal: ttyS0]
PAM-warn[9]: user: (uid=0) -> root [remote: ?nobody@]
I have refrenced the boot disk howto and the information there did
not help. I have searched the web to no avail. If anyone has any
suggestions I would love to hear ehm,
Thanks
Ken
