Sure...

Phone line -> DSL splitter -> DSL modem -> Linksys DSL Router/Switch

Then, with two NICs in your comp:

NIC-1 -> VPN device -> Switch
NIC-2 -> Switch

Now the trick may be configuring whatever s/w you are using to access your
VPN to use the correct NIC/IP...

Is this what you meant?
