[ale] Weather Satellite Image on X Background

Um, er, I don't know.  I don't run KDE, and rarely use xv :-)

My only guess would be to use the full "-geometry 1280x978+0+0" syntax.  I don't know why 
-max isn't working for you.  What does -max do on your system?  Do you know if you have a 
stable version of X-windows running? (not 4.0.0)
