[ale] Compiling from source rpm: core dumped

I've been able to successfully compile the package for the i586 arch by
using
rpm --rebuild --target i586 glibc-2.1.3-19.src.rpm

but trying for the i686 arch, I keep getting the following error each
time.

Is this problem with the compiler possibly?
