I found an excellent book on Linux security not too long ago. I can't
remember where I got it. I'll post it at the location below for everyone
to download as soon as I get to work in the morning. This is not another
"Maximum Linux Security" that tells you about all the problems and offers
no solutions. This one takes you through a step by step configuration of
almost every service (ipchains, chroot apache, chroot bind, sendmail,
squid, ftp, etc.) It's definately the best I've seen. I printed it (352
pages) and put it in a binder for quick reference. After spending the last
2 days reading it from cover to cover, I suggest you all do the same.
