As I was reading in this months Linux Journal, Apache does support using
Java Servlets via something called JServ. I think you have to download a
specific version of Apache to use JServ. You might want to check out the
November 99 issue at http://www.linuxjournal.com. It's under the magazine
href on the left menu.

Guys,
I'm not to familiar with Web Servers. I was wondering how strong of a box
would I need to support 6000 hits an hour? The users will use the web to
query an Oracle database using Java Web server by Sun.
I would prefer to do this with Linux, but right it looks like I will need to
use Sun (Intel or Sparc).
Side note: Does Apache Web server support Java servlets?
