Move your files off /var unmount and remount as /newusr. move all your file
from /usr to /newusr, delete /usr and rename /newusr to /usr. then create a
/var on the / partition and move the /var files to it.the reason to do this is
that the /usr filetree contains a lot more data/files than /var.
