Enterprise Management Services Engineer

Respsonsibilities:

The candidate will work with the lead architect of MindSpring's
Network Management Architecture. In this role the individual will participate
in the expansion and maintenance of the systems that makeup the
architecture, which include SNMP polling engines, distributed event
management systems and distributed collection and reporting systems. Other
responsibilities may include the design, development and maintenance of
custom software to support the network management architecture, as well as
other non-SNMP development projects.

Technical Qualifications:

- 2+ years of Perl, CGI, PHP and HTML experience
- 1+ years experience with RDBMS technology like Oracle, Sybase or MySQL
- Working knowledge of SNMP
- System administration experience with Solaris, Linux and other Unix variants
- IP Networking experience
- Technical documentation and training experience 
- Experience with network management systems like Seagate NerveCenter is 
  considered a plus
- Experience with C, C++ and Java is also considered a plus

- Ability to work in an interrupt driven work environment
