I'm using ssh-2.09 (?). I login to my remote with ssh -l $user_name
$machine_name and enter the password when prompted. After that I simply
start the x-program from the command line $x-program & .No need to export
the display. It is tunneled through the ssh connection! Of course, I am
running X on my client machine.
