 Be sure to get a card that is able to use 'linear' addressing under X
If not you can only have 8bpp color. I'm having this problem with a SiS 6326
AGP 8M Card. As far as a sub-$500 PC, I'm asuming that's without the
monitor...I'l check aound real quick...
