[ale] VMware and RH5.2

[Nomad the Wanderer]

When I run under linux, the linux doesn't get an uptime over
1.0.  I'll be messing with putting a diff dist of Linux on my
system as a test to see if I like it.  

You can run 2 guests (more I think) at the same time.  I'll report
back on how that works.
