[ale] offtopic: Q2-Mouse: First you have it, then you don't

  Some people consider Q2 problems off-topic so I just throw up the
warning...

  It's a serial.  Gpm does work with X and console at this  time,
but in a few mins I'll try and kill gpm and run it.
