[ale] Sound Config - Kernel Compile - Boot Disk Question

Both _should_ work fine. I've never tried booting from a disk made by cp
...

At the point you've compiled a new kernel, it takes almost no time to
"make zdisk". This will make the disk bootable. I'm not sure if a cp will
as well. (For that matter, I've only booted from a zdisk floppy twice,
three years ago.:-)

Best of luck. I still can't get my pnp sound card to work unless I get the
OSS sound card driver. It works great. $20 is cheap.
