Well, I'm now in Salt Lake, so you don't want to rely on my memory for
directions, but good Thai restaurants in Atlanta:

There's a rather expensive upscale one on 14th street right next to the
interstate. The food there is almost as good as a Thai restaurant I
frequent in New York whenever I'm there.

There's one in Virginia-Highlands that wouldn't be too far out of the way, I
suppose, and the food there's pretty good and more reasonably priced, from
what I recall (only went there once, so I may be delusional).

Thai One On by Emory has the bonus of letting you specify the number of
peppers to use. If you're a real man and eat 5+ peppers, you get your name
on the wall, which might be a fun novelty for an out-of-towner.

It's not Thai, but the food's kinda similar--there's an interesting
Malaysian restaurant kinda hidden on Buford Highway back by Harmony. If
you've never eaten Malaysian and like Thai food, I'd definitely recommend
hitting this up.

later,
chris
