AHA! You set me on the right track, Mike!

	This was the first problem. I solved that lickety-split, however the
"unknown mailer error 1" was a sticky wicket.. UNTIL I checked the
Slackware Linux site, and did a SlackBuild on their version of Sendmail
8.9.0 ...

I noticed the Local Configuration settings were different in the SlackBuild
vs the base "Sendmail" setup:

(SENDMAIL)
##################################################
### Local and Program Mailer specification ###
##################################################

#####  @(#)local.m4     8.30 (Berkeley) 6/30/98  #####

Mlocal,	P=/bin/mail.local, F=lsDFMAw5:/|@qrmn9, S=10/30, R=20/40,
		T=DNS/RFC822/X-Unix,
		A=mail -d $u

------
(SLACKBUILD)
##################################################
### Local and Program Mailer specification ###
##################################################

#####  @(#)local.m4     8.29 (Berkeley) 5/19/98  #####

Mlocal,	P=/usr/bin/procmail, F=lsDFMAw5:/|@qShP, S=10/30, R=20/40,
		T=DNS/RFC822/X-Unix,
		A=procmail -a $h -d $u
-----

When I substituted the Mlocal using procmail vs. mail.local, all of my
problems disappeared. (Of course I also updated my Procmail, as well as
the other sendmail tools provided with the Build..)

Whew... I'm glad that's done. Thanks for everyone's help! (including the
Glock info)

Now it's off to configure my Anti-SPAM filters.

Cheers!
Jay
