If you are using dos formatted zip discs, the device will be /dev/sda4,
(assuming you don't already have an /dev/sda. If you do, I don't have a
clue. You can fdisk them and make them any /dev/sda? you like.
I've found deals on mac formatted zips, apparently they don't sell
well. I just fdisk them and reformat them.
When you compile, you need scsi support and there is a particular scsi
option that specifies the zip, don't recall exactly, but if you use
xconfig, select help and it's outlined there.
You might want to look at the parallel port sharing driver if you plan
to use the same port for your printer and zip drive. Without it, you
can't load both lp and zip drivers, you'll have to make them modules and
flop between them as necessary. There's a mini howto on the zip, I
believe.
