The only problem I had with my Motorola ModemSURFR 56K was the
lightning hitting it... and that was no fault of the modem... So I would
recommend Motorola... I've since replaced it with a Zoom Dual Mode
K56flex/v.90 modem and have had no problems with it either...
I personally would recommend just replacing the Winmodem.. all it
is a piece of junk that requires Windoze to run... You'll never see it
supported by anythin other than Windoze so it's useless...
