Mindspring recommends that you use PAP for authentication. They say
that some pops won't accept scripted logins. There a page on their
site that tells you how to use Linux. Also there is a newsgroup
that answers Linux question, local.mindspring.linux, maybe?
Of course, you've got to get connected first. Bring up Windows (shudder)
and check out the newsgroup. I remember a number of recent threads dealing
with getting connected via Linux.
