I got the following information from the Data Fellows virus information
database.

http://www.DataFellows.com/vir-info/

===================================

NAME: MDMA ALIAS: Stickykeys, SHMK This is a Word macro virus which spreads
via Word 6+ documents.

This virus is able to infect any language version of Word 6.x and 7.x
running on Windows, Win95, WinNT or Macintosh.

If an infected document is closed on the first day of any month, the virus
will try to destroy data and displays a message box: You are infected with
MDMA_DMV.

Brought to you by MDMA (Many Delinquent Modern Anarchists) MDMA is a
well-known abbreviation for methylenedioxy-methylamphetamine, ie.

These will cause all shift keys to stay 'pressed down' when they are used
and change the screen colors to be easily readable.

===================================

The F-Prot anti-virus package comes with a utility called F-Macrow that
will detect and remove macro viruses.

v2.27a is the current version and can be found at

ftp://ftp.gatech.edu/pub/virus/fp-227a.zip
