I must agree. Flaming back, while it is fun, is not the answer. Linuxers
(and Unix people) have a bit of a reputation for being a little too fanatical.
If you don't believe me, there are a few Dilbert cartoons to prove it.
Not that I don't share the same enthusiasm about Linux as others, but perhaps
biting our tongues might be in the best interest of ALE and the Linux community
next time. Perhaps a polite note reminding the sender about standard email
practices would be better.
So let's think about diplomacy and save the flames for the sex newsgroups and
lists (not that I know anything about those type of things! :) ).
