   Joe ,
        Typically if you set the core to 2.5 the the i/o will be 3.3v
However,
this is not always the case.  Double check you I/O voltage just to be
sure
because if it is running at 3.5 then your transistors may start fusing
together.
ant the 6x86L will be short lived.
