Well here's an interesting twist. All along I've not been able to get this
thing to work. I then upgraded to kernel 1.2.13, installed it and reboot so
I could test it a bit before going further. Well on reboot, I had the
ftape.o from my 1.2.8 installation still out there. I had created a new
1.2.13 isnmod and installed it. When rc ran and tried to load ftape the
blasted thing worked. I got an error message saying that I had a 1.2.8
ftape.o but it would still try and load it. This is the first successful
load I've gotten and I'm using two different versions. The blasted thing
still won't get anything out of the tape though. I don't know if it's the
tape or the ftape confusion. Well, onward........
