That's 'yahoo' as in celebration, not the internet index from which a 
couple of Stanford students are becoming rich beyond their wildest dreams...

I'm writing to y'all from a linux box I just got configured.  I'm 
telneted in to gatech from an xterm - even X windows works.  It's amazing 
what good hardware can do for you...

Thanks to all who have been trying to help me with my bizarre kernel crc 
errors.  I still need to get that machine going with linux (this is 
another one - brand new HP Vectra XM P133 with on board S3, AMD PCNet, 
NEC Multispin 6V, 1.2G disk, and 32M RAM.  It's nice when the company buys!)

Regarding those kernel crc errors, I've received two responses indicating 
a possible hardware or configuration problem with the SCSI.  I'll be 
looking into that next.

Sorry this is so lacking in substance, but I had to share my 
celebration, and nobody else understands as well as you.  Thanks 
again.
