(heh heh) My EARS!! My box sits on my desk, and the modem is internal,
with the speaker turned up some. Sometimes I can literally hear a little
"crackling" on the line, between when the ringing stops and the =
handshake.=20
If it's bad enough, I can count on my connect speed dropping to 19200.=20
Sorry if you were expecting something more sophisticated.:-)
