(If you have an utter aversion to Win95-related messages, you should
pass this one by.)

To avoid having to manually log in for a PPP connection from a Win95
client, use the "Dial-Up Scripting Tool" in the "Accessories" menu. I
suspect that this tool comes with the "Plus!" pack and not with a baseline
Win95 installation, but I don't know for sure. From Geoffrey Myers'
message, it sounds as though Microsoft has made this tool available
through other channels as well. You will have to have created a login
script for your individual situation before you use this tool, though
Microsoft provides a few examples to follow.

I've used the aforementioned tool and am pretty familiar with creating
scripts for Win95. I've also discovered a few more caveats with
configuring PPP connections under Win95 (though nothing that would
help Al Leach). If anyone has had a problem with scripts, etc., or is
even just too lazy to figure out these things on their own, please feel
free to drop me a line directly (as this is obviously not the forum for
Win95 configuration questions, though it is indirectly related).

PS: Whoops, almost forgot to go back and add those CR's that MS
Exchange refuses to put in. I've read more than one note complaining
about lines without CR's. The things I do for you guys!
