Just wanted to add my thanks for the expo, too.  I had a great time!  
Actually seeing what other people have running on their machines was a 
big help for me.  And a real net connection was nice, too. 

BTW, I noticed an annoucement in c.o.l.a for an Install party for the (I 
think) DC Linux group.  This goes well with what I suggested to some people 
after the Expo, that I enjoyed it as a super-geek-off.  I was careful to 
not do anything radical with my machine leading up to the Expo, so that it 
would be able to demo, but I would like an opportunity to have a bunch of 
more knowledable Linux users around while I try to get something going on 
my machine.  I'd lug my machine to an install party and help someone 
else get going with Linux, especially if I thought I could improve my 
set-up.  Just thought I'd throw that out and see if there was any other 
interest.
