[ale] Magnito Optical and Linux

Is anybody out there running a Magnito Optical drive with Linux.  I =
tried one Thursday and I thought it was going to work fine but there =
were a few problems.
	1.  Linux didn't reckognize the device as removable media.
	2.  Linux could see the space but when I tried to copy data to it
	     I could only copy a fraction of what Linux showed available.
	3. It seemed to cause a scsi hang.  It didn't hang the computer but it 	=
    seemed to screw up disk access rates.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
